It is with the deepest of sorrow that we have to report the death of the brilliant young Swiss star, Mathias Roten. An inspirational genius who excelled at both acro and cross country, Mathias was one of the leading lights of speedriding and has played a major role in the development of the sport.
As one of the most active exponents of speedriding, Mathias wanted us all to know how amazing a sport it was. To that end he created ‘Playgravity‘, arguably the most beautifully filmed and professionally edited flying film ever made. Watch it and you’ll feel what an inspiration he was and what a great job he did of inspiring us all.
Mathias was taken from us on Friday the 7 March 2008 in a speedriding accident in Switzerland.
