Colombian Hang Gliding Nationals 2008
The Colombian Hang Gliding Nationals and Open Hang Gliding Competition is ready to go. It’s in the process of getting the CAT 2 homologation from the FAI and has its own website now: http://zamuros.googlepages.com/home2
The dates: July 12-19 2008
The place: Roldanillo, Colombia.
Roldanillo offers easy flying, cheap mountain takeoff site, with decent cross country opportunities with low wind conditions.
Tasks average 70 km with 2.5 hours race time. Organisers say it’s a nice place for getting extra FAI points, and for pre-qualifying to CAT 1 events.
