Colombian Hang Gliding Nationals and Open Hang Gliding Competition
The Colombian Hang Gliding Nationals and Open Hang Gliding Competition is ready to go. It’s in the process of getting the CAT 2 homologation from the FAI and it has it’s own website now: http://zamuros.googlepages.com/home2
The dates: July 12-19 2008
The place: Roldanillo, Colombia.
Roldanillo is an easy flying, cheap mountain takeoff site, with decent cross country capabilities, low wind conditions. Tasks average 70 km with 2.5 hours race time. It’s a nice place for getting extra FAI points, and for pre-qualifying to CAT 1 events.
