Urban Valic wins at Poggio Bustone
Four tasks out of a possible seven were flown in this week’s PWC in Poggio Bustone, Italy, the first of the 2008 Paragliding World Cup series. Urban Valic (Sl) was the victorious pilot taking gold aboard his Niviuk Icepeak.
Silver went to Primoz Podobnik (Sl, Axis Mercury) and bronze to Stefan Schmoker (CH, Advance Omega). First woman, and 38th overall, was Renata Kuhnova (CZ, Sky Eris 3).
