Advance say they are pleased to anounce that its new intermediate glider, the Sigma 7, has passed certification and is now in production in four sizes. The first wings will be delivered in June.
Advance say that its outstanding characteristics are its high canopy stability, precise and direct handling and the SPI (speed performance indicator) which enables best use of the speed bar to achieve a higher average speed on your route. A well defined max lift point on the profile and optimal internal pressure also mean it can be flown faster in turbulent air.
These attributes make it a good wing for faster transiting, that is becoming ever more popular with recreational cross country pilots.
