Hang gliding records fall in Texas

Newsflash: BJ Herring has set a new rigid wing distance to goal record of 240 miles (386km), beating the old record by 15 miles. He did it on the last day of Big Spring International in Texas, 9 August 2008.

The same day Robin Hamilton flew a 300 km FAI triangle on his Swift at an average speed of 50 km/h, smashing the previous speed record of 44 km/h.
