Sol’s new Torck paraglider
Sol have released the Torck, an LTF 2-3 glider. Developed to help ease people into this category from a lower one, Sol have concentrated on stability and handling whilst not compromising on performance.
Constructed using five different cloths to maximise durability without increasing weight, the Torck features small cell entries to aid stability (10 of the 64 cells are entirely closed), and finishing touches such as magnetic brake keepers, nylon inserts in the maillons and different coloured risers on the right and left sides.
The company say it has a flatter profile than its predecessor, and diagonal lines in all cells allow a reduction in the number of suspension lines.
