BT Heroes of Sport exhibition
The BT Heroes of Sport Exhibition is to be held at Manchester Central (formerly GMEX) on 24 -26 October.
Visitors to the exhibition will be asked to vote for their local hero who, in their opinion, has contributed the most to their community through sport. The hero attracting the greatest number of votes will be recognised at the forthcoming Police Community Clubs Conference to be held in December in Manchester – and will be awarded £1000 to help fulfil their project as well as being given the title of Community Hero of Sport 2008.
With sporting celebrities like Denis Law, Colin Bell, extreme climber Tim Emmett and players from the Salford City Reds attending, you can learn from the professionals with interactive demonstrations, talks and coaching sessions. Exhibitors covering all sports will be showcasing the latest equipment, kits and footwear; find the right coaches and nutritional advice to really improve your performance and get to grips with the latest sports technology.
