Columbus Day Weekend Fall Fly In
The Morningside Flight Park, one of the premier flying locations in the USA, is again hosting its Oktoberfest for Columbus Day, running the whole weekend of 11 – 13 October 2008.
Wills Wing hang gliders will be available to demo,and there will be a Pot Luck BBQ on the Saturday afternoon and evening, so bring something to throw on! Don’t worry if it’s a bit chilly, as there is a heated party tent to assure a comfy evening. And if you fancy getting into the “Wild West” spirit, that is the theme for the fancy dress competiton. Fireworks on the Saturday night.
If you have an antique hang glider to bring along it will be most welcome. Either way, come and see the collection and meet the pioneers of the sport.
