Markus Prantl: paraglider pilot in the 2008 Dolomitenmann Race
The Red Bull Dolomitenmann is recognised as one of the toughest adventure events of the year. Participants from all over the world compete in a tough iron man style competition, in teams of four:Â a mountain runner, mountain biker, kayaker and speed gliding pilot race battle it out in the rugged setting of the Dolomites.
110 Teams from all over the world took part in this year’s event, on 12 September. The winner of the paragliding section, Markus Prantl, flew an Airwave Speedmachine to his victory.
