The Final Waggas paragliding beach Festival takes place from 9 – 17 January 09 in Western Australia.
It was conceived and has been organised by local pilots to promote beach flying and freestyle and create awareness and development of this form of flying. The event comprises two, three day stages of waggas, with refresher and skill perfection courses available. There will also be ground handling, low level accuracy and slalom events.
All pilots are welcome, from beginners to freestyle experts, and different time slots will be alloted to the different groups to keep it safe. There are prizes for all categories.
Please note you need a temporary Australian license to fly in Australia. The festival costs 100 Australian dollars per day. Contact r.nieuwoudt@gmail.com for more info, or visit www.paraglide-xc-acro.com
