Transdromoise 2009
The highly successful Transdromoise, vol-bivouac race across the Drome department of France, is back for 2009. Planned for the week of 25 – 30 May, entry is open now on their website (address below).
The exact departure point in the Vercors will be announced a few days before the event starts, and a two-day goal will be set. There will then be a communal bivouac place, the aim of which is to encourage discussion between competitors regarding routes chosen, and to allow those who have started badly ‘another chance’. The next two days’ goal will then be set. The race finishes on the 6th day.
New for this year’s race, one supporter can look after more than one competitor, and there is no requirement for GPS.
