Charly reversible Globe harness
Charly’s new reversible rucsac / harness is a lightweight (4.4 kg in M size, without karabiners) piece of kit that does not scrimp on details, practicality or safety. The 4 chamber Charly Inflate System (C.I.S) airbag inflates rapidly after take off to protect the pelvis area and is said to give record-breaking shock absorption values even when only half inflated. (The EAPR test centre described the valve system as a “breakthrough” in harness design). The integrated rescue system container is adjustable to suit the pack size of the reserve chosen. External pockets on the rucsac keep those essentials close at hand, and there are ice axe / walking pole loops. The hip strap, very important to walkers and mountaineers, is removable for cable car days!
