Niviuk production Icepeak 3
Despite the fact that it is new on the scene, the success of the Icepeak 3 has already been proven in the recent World Championships, with men’s vice champion, Stefan Wyss, and women’s champion, Elisa Houdry, both flying them.
Now experienced pilots will be pleased to learn that there is a production version of the comp wing available in two colour combinations and 8 sizes (narrow ranges for each size, starting with optimal weight of 80 kg and going up to 130).
The Icepeak 3 sports MSV (Mesh Speed Valve) and IRS (Internal rigifoils Stability) technologies that augment its safety and performance. The former valves open and close to adjust the airflow through the open ports according to your speed (eg whilst in thermals versus on transitions) whilst the latter ensures less movement of the glider in turbulence.
