Version 5.0 of the paraglider simulator DemoFly was released in February 2009.
Changes include:
Optimised mode of play with wing on the land; option of fast running to take off; more realistic in turbulence; asymmetrics, frontal collapses, back collapse and transition between them and normal flight look more realistic; photo realistic panoramas (Google maps) and 260 square kilometer terrain; new model of ground winds and thermals.
The user-friendly interface allows practically all parameters to be changed: azimuth and angel of the sun place (thermal activity), azimuth and power of winds, diameter of the thermal flow and altitude of the cloud base.
