Following on from last year’s success, with over 50 pilots and great national media coverage, the Bergamo Hang gliding Trophy (Trofeo Internazionale dell’Isola) is back. The event will take place on 16 and 17 May 2009 in Palazzago, near Bergamo and is open to Class 1 and Class 5 hang gliders. The organisers invite pilots who’ve never had the chance to fly over the Orobic Prealps to come and try this amazing flying area. The landscape varies from plains to mountains, from alpine valleys to gentle hills. You can easily fly over Lecco Lake to the west and try to reach Brescia to the east.
The trophy will be a weekend of feast and friendship, an occasion for pilots and companions to share pleasant days.
