Lightweight boots from Inov-8
Inov-8 are a UK company based in the Pennines, who make specialist off-road running footwear. Their general philosophy is that their footwear should be lightweight, highly breathable, and comfortable to wear. They have brought two new super-light boots to the market. With trainer-like comfort but having ankle support, they offer some protection for paraglider pilots and will appeal to fly-and-hikers. Inov-8Â claim that the X-Talon 240, at 240 g (UK size 8 ) is the lightest boot in the world, and the Roclite 288 GTX, 288g for UK size 8, the lightest Gore-Tex boot in the world.
