Airwave Tandem
Airwave are pleased to announce that ‘A new generation in tandem design has been born!’ They say that through application of new techniques they have been able to combine improved launch characteristics with extremely easy and appealing handling and excellent flaring ability during landing. The Tandem is certified with a massive weight range (120 – 220 kg) and the company say it flies beautifully throughout the entire range. “Professional Tandem pilots need no longer have two wings to cover all their passengers’ weights since ‘one size fits all’”.
Airwave say the Tandem easily stands up to any solo glider with regards to performance and sink rate, and is blessed with great longevity. It will suit tandem pilots with a focus on passive and active stability and security and those who want to tackle long distances.
