Rally Sosertao Voanda 2009
Described by the organisers as “the biggest free flying rally ever held in the world”, the Sosertao is a “cultural and sports project” that will feature free flying pilots from all over the world, aiming to cross the entire 1080 km of the Brazilian northeast, the Sertao, from East to West, and to break speed and distance records on the way. The seven legs, spread over seven days (1 – 8 November), will be raced. The caravan, which will consist of 20 hang gliders, 10 paragliders, 5 trikes, 15 cars, 2 trucks and 2 buses, will be offering “food, culture, medecines, art and an introduction to adventure sport”, to the residents.
