Apco Mayday superlight
Apco have launched the Mayday 18 SLT and 20 SLT (superlight), which are based on Apco’s very popular Mayday 18 and 20, but with weight and volume drastically reduced thanks to the use of the latest lightweight hi-tech components and materials. Apco’s range of super-lightweight reserves now covers weights of up to 130 kg.
Apco are also proud to announce that these reserves are amongst the top ten of the 41 chutes tested in the grand reserve comparison carried out by the SHV and FFVL at Air Turquoise’s test site at the end of March 2009. They tested sink rate, stability and opening time, and the Mayday 20 SLT came out top overall.
