David Dagault breaks French distance record

Ozone designer David Dagault made the most of the curent awesome French cross country conditions, when he took off from Col de Bleine in the French Maritime Alps yesterday (20 August) for a superb flight over the Alps landing just beyond Sion in Switzerland, 333 km away. If the distance is confirmed, it beats Franck Arnaud’s  328 km record which was set less than two months ago, on 22 June 2009.

Congratulations to David, and more details here

I got to fly with you and Robbie back in 01′ at col du bleine. Nice work! I also thought you had sent it huge from there before. Nice work, congrats. Back then you were on the proton gt.

  2. Laurent Soleil Says:

For your information David’s flight has been cancelled for violation of the airspace in Sion, the paragliding french distance record remains Franck Arnaud’s property with a flight of 328 kilometers in straight line (for information also: David’s distance in staight line was 276, 332,5 km is with 1 turning point).
