Escape Gliders (SKP)
A new French brand of paragliders was created in January 2009 by ex-Airwave co-designer and test pilot, Pierre-Yves Alloix (R&D), and Mathieu Chabot (marketing), also from Airwave. They have two gliders certified and in production: the S’Cool is a low-level EN B glider, certified in S,M and L sizes and the S’Mile tandem is also certified EN B in 42 m2 size.
Two further wings are in the offing, to be officially released at St Hilaire (17 – 20 September 2009): The S’Pace (high level Cen B and Ltf 1-2) and the S’Max 2010 will be a high level competition wing (with an aspect ratio of 7.65) which will be only load tested.
