Entries for the Gradient XC Africa paragliding competition, to be held ffrom 14 – 19 November 2009, are flooding in and there are only 26 places left.
The emphasis in this CAT2 cross country paragliding competition is definitely distance flying. During last years event, 19 pilots flew their personal best and a new SA Ladies open distance record was set at 203km. This year Gradient, Northern Cape Tourism Authority & Fly De Aar invite you to come and try to set your personal best & fly some real distances.
Two new rules have been introduced to ensure safety and fairness:
1. A strict land by time will be enforced.
2. As this is a winching event, the number of entries will be limited to 50 pilots (so be sure to pre-register so we can monitor the numbers & avoid disappointment) Paid up entries will receive precedence to unpaid entries.
