Orlin Dimov wins XC Open paragliding competition in Sopot, Bulgaria

The Bulgarian leg of the XC-Open paragliding competition saw some good flying.

A 187 km flight by Orlin Dimov (BG) on his Omega was the biggest distance flown and came on the final day, Task 6. It gave him an overall win. Adam Grzech (PL) was second, also on an Omega, while Kacper Kowalski (PL) came third on an Axis Mercury.

Some 43 pilots took part. Conditions got better through the week – 8 – 15 August – best daily distances were 52 km, 60 km, 50 km, 149 km and 187 km. Anastassia Leonova (RU) won the women’s comp.
