More from hang gliding star Jonny Durand who has been receiving plenty of attention from the Australian media this week following his recent Morning Glory flights.
Vicki Moyes of Moyes Gliders writes: “Jonny’s been making the news for all the right reasons. His recent Morning Glory flight has been picked up by all the news channels in Australia and he was on the Channel 7 Sunrise morning show this morning.
“Tonight he will be interviewed on Wide World of Sports and the Disney show were here yesterday filming for a segment that will be shown on Saturday!
“Very good for Jonny, very good for Red Bull and very good for Hang Gliding! Very good Jonny!”
It has been a good week for Moyes, adds Vicki:
“Just last week Kraig won the Santa Cruz Flats comp in Arizona. Kraig flew one comp last year at Big Springs and won and did it again this year in Arizona. The Moyes Boys did us proud taking the first three places.”
