iPhone tool for hang glider sprog measurements
Apple’s iPhone supports a Clinometer (slope measuring) tool, which Gordon Rigg suggested could be a simple way of measuring sprog settings on topless hang gliders (read on the Oz Report).
Apple say the clinometer is accurate to ±0.1 degrees, which means it could be a much quicker and simpler method than the protractor, piece of string and dangling weight that Gordon says were used at the Worlds this year.
