Austrian paraglider manufacturer Nova have again analysed their brand’s popularity and success in the online paragliding competitions and contests, and are pleased to have once again had a successful season.
They looked at XContest, DHV XC and Onlinecontest.org. Taking Xcontest, the comp with the highest number of participants, they were delighted to have achieved 11 of the top 20 positions (including first, second and fourth) in the Sport (EN C and D; LTF 2 and 2-3) category, and 13 of the top 20 positions (including first, third and fourth) in the Standard category (EN A and B; LTF 1 and 1-2).
Swiss pilot Urs Haari flies an LTF 1-2 / EN B Nova Mentor, on which he not only won the standard class, but also the Sport class, ahead of all EN C and D wings.
Wolfi Lechner, CEO of Nova, says: “I would like to say thank you to all Nova pilots on behalf of our team and congratulate them for their outstanding success. We see this as an impressive confirmation of our work. Nova is focussing on designing and producing paragliders for “normal” pilots – wings that are fun to fly and enable a high number of pilots to succeed in long and
safe XC flights. Nova undertakes every effort to be THE brand for the XC pilots – this is the proof that we really are!“
