SPOT satellite GPS messenger back on sale

- SPOT
The SPOT handheld GPS tracking device has been approved for European use and is back in XCshop at the reduced price of €149.95.
It works where mobile phones won’t, logging your location and sending it by email or text to a designated recipient or to the emergency services. It can also be used to track your progress in real time using Google Maps.
Creators, Globalstar Europe Satellite Services, are offering a €60 rebate to existing and new customers. They are also introducing a Recommend a Friend rebate programme. Existing customers can get €30 cash back when they recommend SPOT to their friend, who will also receive €30 for purchasing a SPOT with one year’s Basic Service & Tracking.

Cool, that’s a really good price also, especially with the rebate. I picked up a Garmin based off the review at http://handheldgpssystems.org but could definitely see investing in one of these next go-round, love the look.
