UP paragliders safety notice
There have been some cases of Dyneema C and D lines on certain UP gliders (full list available here) shrinking whilst As and Bs maintain their length, altering the launch characteristics of these wings.
Gliders with lower payloads and which have been subjected to higher temperatures are more likely to have been affected, but as a precaution, UP are recommending that owners of gliders appearing in the list should have their middle and upper Liros DC lines replaced with lines made from Aramide.
Owners are recommended to get in touch with their local UP dealer or distributor to receive the free replacement lineset.
