ITV‘s highly acclaimed speed flying wing, the Pil Pit, has been replaced by the Pil Pit2 which has already been seen out carving the Alpine slopes.
Michaël Regnier has been out this summer and autumn refining and tuning the Pil-Pit 2, which retains the distinctive Pil-Pit 1 profile, but has a tightened-up trailing edge. This, say ITV, has meant better ground acceleration, striking performance and improved maneuverability without compromising the wing’s passive stability in turbulence. Last season’s reversible harness / backpack has also been improved.
The Pil-Pit2 is available in 8, 9.5, 11, 13 and 16 m2. The largest size is for heavier pilots and training use.
And regarding the price – still last season’s! So … grab your Pil-Pit and skis… the snow is on its way.
