Karel Vejchodsky wins Gradient XC Africa Open 2009
The XC Africa Open 2009 finished in De Aar, South Africa, on 21 November.
44 pilots took part, and although weather stopped play on a few occasions, three good tasks were completed with best flights of 134, 154 and 182 km on the three days. Czechs took the first three spots, with Karel Vejchodsky finishing ahead of Ondrej Dupal and Jan Kratky. South African Gaynor Schoeman was the first woman in, and 9th overall.
