Women’s Paragliding Open set for Ager, Spain

The Women's Paragliding Open will be in Ager in August 2010
The first international Women’s Paragliding Open will be held in Ager, Spain, from 21 – 28 August, organisers have announced.
Although the competition was announced earlier in the month, the venue was still undecided. However, Ager in northern Spain has now been fixed.
British pilot Nicky Moss said she hoped the competition would attract all levels of pilot. “We know the area, we’ve organised competitions there before, it’s a great place to fly, and it should be a blast!” she said.
Organisers said they wanted to provide a safe, fair and satisfying competition, “to reinforce friendship among women pilots of all nations, and to introduce more women into the international scene.”
Some top competition names are on the organisation committee, including Klaudia Bulgakow, Karolina Kocięcka, Anja Kroll, Caroll Licini, Nicky Moss and Des Pansi.
