Advance Axess 2 Air paragliding harness
Swiss paraglider manufacturer Advance‘s new Axess 2 Air harness is now in production in sizes M and L, with the S size to follow.
The harness is compact and light (just over 3 kg), careful choice of materials saving weight without losing any features. The seat board is carbon fibre and the carabiners lightweight aluminium. The harness has a built-in rescue chute housing, a pod and a foam-supported airbag which takes up its in-flight shape and volume immediately after unpacking and offers maximum security on launch.
Advance say the harness offers a lot of freedom of movement on the ground, complementing high levels of in-air comfort. Introduced to the public in Autumn 2009 at the International shows in St. Hillaire (FR) and Tegelberg (DE), the Axess 2 Air can be tried out at Advance dealers from February. First deliveries to pilots will follow in March. The harness comes in two colours, blue and orange.
