Handpresso portable espresso coffee maker: a vol-bivouac essential?
Hang glider and paraglider pilots who enjoy vol-bivouac and are addicted to good coffee, may consider Handpresso‘s hand-held espresso coffee maker an essential piece of vol-bivouac kit.
The French company have created beautiful-looking models that take either ground coffee or E.S.E (easy serve espresso) pods, various types of which are available in most supermarkets.
The Handpresso is small enough to slip into your harness, and prepares “a tasty espresso with a perfect crema every time”.
You simply pump up the handle to 16 bar (it has a built-in pressure gauge), add hot water to the mini reservoir, slip in a coffee pod (or fill with ground coffee, depending which model you have), and fire off your espresso.
