Austrian Thomas Weissenberger won the Aeros Winter Race, which took place from 10 – 14 March 2010 in Ajdovscina and Kovk, Slovenia.
Despite some wild weather and winds of up to 200 km/hr battering the location, three good tasks (from 70 to 99 km distance) were run. Organisers say that “pilots enjoyed the valley and the flats of the region, the weather cooperated and it was nice to see so many happy faces all around”.
The overall winner of the event was Thomas Weissenberger (AT, Moyes RS4), ahead of Primoz Gricar (SL, Aeros Combat 09) and Elio Cataldi (IT, Moyes RS4). The first female in was Swiss pilot Carole Tobler (Moyes S 3.5).
