Born to Fly hangglider and paraglider clothing range
Well known for his quirky and award-winning short films, American hang glider pilot Lucas Ridley now has his own clothing range for hang glider and paraglider pilots.
The ‘Born to Fly’ range features “very soft” men’s and women’s T-shirts, tanks and warm hoodies in organic cotton and various colours, in either paraglider or hang glider designs, with more designs still coming together.

A percentage of the profits are being donated to the Foundation for Free Flight, a voluntary organisation dedicated to the preservation of hang gliding and paragliding in the United States.
Lucas says, “I have always had a penchant for interesting t-shirts, and once I fell in love with hang gliding I found that there weren’t many to choose from besides the shirts for local clubs or competitions. That’s when I got the idea for a few designs that played off of the theme of being ‘Born to Fly’”.
