On 1 March 2010, Mik Broschart joined Austrian paraglider manufacturer Nova‘s marketing department as their global Account & Marketing Manager.
Mik has been paragliding since 1989 and a member of the Nova Pilots Team since 2007. He won the ‘All African Open’ serial class on a Nova Mentor that year, and was ‘Nova pilot of the year’ in 2008. He comes to Nova from 16 years in Hewlett Packard’s Sales & Marketing department.
Mik says of his new role, ”Having the possibility to combine my passion for paragliding with my job is really exciting. I am looking forward to enjoy my work and I will be able to fully stand behind the company and the product. I now follow my heart!”
Wolfi Lechner is excited too: “Mik has supported us in several fields over the last years with brilliant ideas, so we are now really glad to have him on board. Despite his affinity towards paragliding, he has never lost ground and always did a great job. I am sure his experience in the paragliding scene combined with professional qualifications will keep Nova on the road to success. Welcome on board!”
