Paragliding school Esprit are organising two hike and fly events in the French Alps Autumn 2010
French paragliding school Esprit Parapente are organising two hike-and-fly events for autumn 2010.
The Queyras Tour takes in this beautiful alpine region which spreads southeast of Briancon to the Italian border. The tour will use the mountain refuges in the area offering comfortable evenings after days spent exploring the region by foot and by paraglider, from 16 – 19 September.
Then on the weekend of 9 – 10 October 2010, Esprit are offering a weekend of racing on foot and air in the Pelvoux region of the Ecrins massif. A high level of physical fitness and paragliding skills are required for this race, and a mountain refuge will again be used for the saturday night stay. Rules of the event can be downloaded here.
