Teaching the Indian Air Force to paraglide
Indian paragliding school and club, Nirvana Adventures, has won a contract to teach over 100 airmen from various bases in the Indian air force, to fly paragliders.
The school, based just 100 km outside of Mumbai in Kamshet, India’s Western Ghats, are “happy and honoured” to be training the forces once more, having been involved in training the Indian navy before.
The contract was awarded by the Air Force Adventure Directorate, who has previously offered activities such as trekking, skiing, rafting, diving and sky diving to air force personnel.
