Icaro Paragliders’ specially designed XS wings
In keeping with their philosophy of creating well-designed XS gliders for smaller pilots, Icaro Paragliders now have an extra small version of the EN A Cyber 4 and the EN B Wildcat.
The company believe XS wings should be specially designed to have the same performance, speed and handling as their larger counterparts. They are tested by lightweight pilots at all stages, to ensure they get it right.
The Cyber 4, for instance, has a projected area of only 18 m², which is extremely small compared to similar glider models on the market. But Icaro say that in their experience it is the ideal area for a take off weight of 55-75 kg, and the Cyber 4 XS is as fast and safe as its big brothers and features the same comfortable sensation in flight.
There are now XS versions of their entire range except the Oxygen super-light mountain glider (which is available in S or M), including the GTO Race competition wing. See their website for full details.
