Werni Jacober’s record flight: 200+ km triangle on an intermediate paraglider
Swiss pilot Werner ‘Werni’ Jacober has entered the first FAI triangle flight of 200+ km to be flown on an EN B glider onto XContest.
The 42-year-old father of three started his 212.85 km triangle flight in Fiesch, Switzerland, on 26 June. The ten-and-a-half-hour flight on his Gradient Golden 3 had been planned over endless winter nights, and was, he said, “the flight of my life”.
Details of his flight can be seen here.

Awesome stuff! When good planning, good weather and great paragliding gear combine it makes for a fantastic adventure.
Congratulations Werner.
