Sonchaux Acro Show 2010: 20 – 22 August
The Sonchaux Acro show and festival takes place in Villeneuve on the Swiss Riviera next weekend, 20 – 22 August.
Sixteen of the world’s top acro stars will compete in the skies above the resort, a video screen in the town bringing the public closer to the action as it shows each pilot launching. They will then land on a platform in the lake.
Alongside the paragliders’ acro performances, hang-gliders, acrobatic planes, BASE jumpers and speedriders will be wowing the crowds with spectacular air shows, and for the pilots amongst them there will be a Testival run alongside the flying, so they can see and try out new kit.
On-site bars and food, concerts and Saturday’s night flight and firework display will heighten the festival atmosphere.
