The second edition of the hang gliding Atlantique Delta Race takes place on France’s Atlantic coast, not far from the famous Dune de Pyla, on Saturday 13 November 2010.
Up to 50 pilots can participate in this friendly race along the beach between Pinsec beach at Naujac sur mer, and Hourtin beach, an out-and-return trip of 12 km. Organisers say participants need to be proficient at launching in reasonably windy conditions in order to take part.
Spectators and free-fliers are also welcome to come along and to fly outside of the race ‘window’.
