Applications are open for Australia’s Corryong Open 2011 paragliding competition, which takes place at Mount Elliot, Victoria, next February.
The Ozone-sponsored competition, also the country’s nationals, is FAI cat II and runs from 26 February to 5 March.
Organisers say, “Our aim with this competition is to have safe yet challenging XC tasks and to make the most of any booming days that come along and to enjoy tasks without the airspace issues common with some other comps”.
There are places for 90 pilots, and you can apply on the Corryong Open website now. An early bird bonus on the entry fee means it is AUS $ 285 (about € 200) before 1st January, and AUS $ 340 (€ 240) thereafter.
