Swiss pilot Alfredo Studer (Ozone) won the French round of the Paragliding World Cup 2012 in Talloires – his second ever PWC competition.
The round finished on 19 May after a week of rain, low cloud and winds and only one task being held at all – and that was stopped because of strong winds.
France’s Seiko Fukuoka-Naville (Niviuk) was the highest-scored woman. Joel Debons (Niviuk) finished three points behind Alfredo, making it a one-two win for Switzerland, and Ozone’s Charles Cazaux and Pierre Remy jointly took the third podium spot for the French on their home turf.
PWCTV’s Philippe Broers asked Alfredo about his win.
The next round of the PWC takes place in Portugal, 14-21 July 2012.
