Cross Country Subscribers’ Prize Draw 2012 announced: And the winner is…

Win a free paraglider

Win a free paraglider

The big wait is over. Thousands of Cross Country magazine subscribers around the world have been waiting for this date to find out if they are the lucky winner of a paraglider of their choice in our annual subscribers’ prize draw.

The lucky pilot will be able to pick any solo paraglider from Air Design, Gin, Gradient, Nova, Sky Paragliders, Swing or Skywalk.

At 12 noon UK time today that lucky winner was drawn from the Cross Country helmet and their name is…

That’s right, Kitti Virag from Budapest, Hungary is this year’s prize draw winner! Kitti bought her subscription as a gift for her boyfriend Gyula Fichtinger, also from Budapest Hungary. So Gyula is the lucky guy who will be flying a brand new paraglider in the new year. Nice gift Kitti!

Plus, nine runners up each win a copy of the beautiful hardback book Classic Routes. They are:

Graham Eveille
Todd Sherman
Damian Smith
Richard Nakai
Matthew Dolan
Andrew Sumpton
Arturo Gomez Cram
Ziggy Mulhauser
Enric Moyes

Congratulations to all the winners.

We’ll have more news about the winner and the glider they chose in the new year. In the meantime, thanks to everyone who took part this year and helped support Cross Country Magazine. We’re looking forward to a great 2013 – see you up there!

Blue skies

    Hi xcmag..
Recently moved to Austria from Indonesia. Actually i was hoping could be winning on your Glider by subscribing this december, since i couldnt afford one. All my money goes to this family moving, without any ‘light’ for my xc carrier.. :)
Guess i’ll hope for it again next year.
