The Asi Flynet 2

The Asi Flynet 2

Paired with your smartphone or tablet it’s very handy – even allowing you to see where other people’s thermals are. Now that’s got to be cheating…

Lots of pilots now use their iPhones or iPads while flying and there are plenty of apps catering to pilots.

This means apps have to rely on GPS altitude and the accelerometer to try to simulate a barometric vario.

The ASI FlyNet2 Bluetooth vario brings this functionality to your device, whether Apple or Android.

In Cross Country 148 Marcus King gives it a thorough going over. Worth the money or leave it on the shelf? He helps you decide.
