France’s Jeremie Lager was the surprise winner at this year’s Paragliding World Championship in Sopot, Bulgaria.
Over five tasks he flew consistently to hang on to the top spot, finally finishing just a handful of points ahead of second placed Charles Cazaux (FR).
Jeremy told us:
I felt like I was flying well. I didn’t have time to think too much about the competition beforehand which gave me a certain freedom to just fly without thinking about the results, and to just enjoy myself.
The full interview is in Cross Country 149.
