Sup’Air have announced their first paraglider – the tandem Sora. Aimed at professional tandem pilots it’s the result of over a year of design effort.
Announcing the glider Sup’Air said, “This high-end tandem glider meets all the requirements of professional pilots who need to perform flight after flight all day over a whole season.”
A wide in-flight weight range of 120-220kg and a relatively low weight of 7.5kg are designed to make the glider usable for tandem operations anywhere.
Sup’Air designer Pierre-Yves Alloix said, “A tandem wing for professionals is probably the most complicated design there is and requires the most focus. There is no room for compromise.
“We set the bar as high as possible for our entry into the paraglider market.”|
A leader in harnesses, this glider marks the first foray into paraglider design for the company. An EN A glider is on the cards for their next production wing.
