Seiko Fukuoka has claimed two more new world records – on top of the world record she claimed at the end of March.
Flying on 11 April Seiko set a Speed record for a 25km triangle – blasting round the circuit at an average speed of 42.89km/h.
The previous world record was held by Nicole Fedele (IT) and was set in March 2011 at 28.66km/h.
The next day she set a Speed over an out and return course of 100km – flying at an average speed of 31.89km/h.
The previous world record was also held by Nicole Fedele (IT) and was set in May 2010 at 27.3km/h.
Both of Seiko’s records were set in the Annecy region of the French Alps.
Seiko has now claimed three world records in a little over two weeks. The first record claim was for Speed over a 50km triangle, which she set on 28 March this year at 34.69km/h.
All the records are with the FAI for ratification.
